The process i have gone through for the personal essay is talking to some of my family , and remembering what happened that day. what are some other ways i could do to gather more information to help with my personal essay?
I'm not sure exactly what kind of experience you're talking about, but I'll give it a shot. Were family members the only ones involved in this experience? (if others involved, talk to them as well.) Did it happen at a place you could return to? If so, going back there might stir some memories. Are there any photos of that time? Try closing yr eyes and re-imagining the experience. What did people do or say? Try to describe the pictures that come to mind. Then think about the meaning issue. As you;re writing about the experience, what are you trying to communicate to reader? What's the point of telling the story? Just a few things to consider...(I could do better if I knew more about what you plan to write about...)
I'm 20 years old . i'm majoring in early childhood education. I love to read and i'm real quite and shy most of the time. I have the most amazing friends who are there for me no matter what , and a awesome boyfriend who loves me for who i am =) i'm not the best writer since i love to read ! =)
